I've always liked the blurring double exposed photographs, which has lent itself to some of my self portraits. Some of my paintings have a dark colourful humor to them. (dark subject, colourful palette) My first love will always be realism. It is nice to sometimes let that go and try new things to do something I might not do otherwise, like the children paintings for example they look a little odd and out of place, not quite sure of their stage in life, but that seems to make them lovable.
updated: 11-16-11 As of late: I have been intrigued by x-rays and trying to capture the effects of light through them. ...and I have been using more Acrylics in painting rather the Oils, which has it's own particular challenges.
